CHAD advocates for affordable quality housing throughout the community

  • With State Representative Sandy Pihos, CHAD advocated for House Bill 5125, which limits townhouse associations from barring rental units that are rented to nonprofit agencies such as CHAD.
  • CHAD continues to encourage the adoption of city standards for rental property, and implement rental inspections to avoid bad examples of affordable housing. The city of Westmont has recently adopted these standards. CHAD hopes to see them spread to other DuPage County communities.
