Support CHAD in the DuPage Human Race

CHAD is participating in the 6th annual DuPage Human Race®. The Human Race is a 5k Run / 2-mile Fitness Walk community event bringing people together in support of over 70 charity organizations serving DuPage County. The Race is an event created by Giving DuPage, whose mission is to promote giving and volunteering throughout DuPage County.

CHAD is seeking to raise $5,000. Walkers and runners can designate CHAD to receive the donation from the race fee and can raise additional funds to support CHAD’s mission. All donations made to CHAD for the DuPage Human Race are tax deductible. The donation receipt is the record of the charitable contribution.

WHEN: Saturday, May 6, 2017

The race/walk takes place – rain or shine – no refunds/exchanges

Onsite registration: 7:30 to 8:15 am

Race Begins: 9:00 am

Where: Esplanade At Locust Point, 1901 Butterfield Road, Downers Grove

The course consists of paved roads at the scenic corporate campus of Esplanade, Locust Point in Downers Grove (across from the Home Depot). There are 2 separate courses – 5K route for runners and 2 mile route for walkers. Runners are timed in the 5K course and the course is USATF sanctioned. Pets, strollers and wheelchairs are allowed on the Fitness Walk route. Pets must be leashed and thanks for picking up after them!

Runners charged $5 more than walkers to cover the cost of chip timer
Actual fee charged to race participants are fees listed below – there are no hidden charges on your credit card receipt.

CHAD has created a team fundraising page for our supporters/donors who wish to give a donation to our organization. CHAD will receive 100% of all donations.

For anyone who is not able to attend the race on May 6th, but wants to make a one-time donation to CHAD.
