CHAD celebrates its more than 30 years of affordable housing services

News release (Monday, November 24, 2014)

Wheaton, IL – At its recent Annual Meeting on November 19, 2014, CHAD Board of Directors joined CHAD staff in recognizing the organization’s more than 30 years of service as an affordable housing developer, owner and management company serving Chicago’s western suburbs.

Originated in the early 1980’s, today CHAD is the largest non-profit provider of affordable housing opportunities in the western suburbs. CHAD is proud to serve more than 400 families in more than 29 western suburban communities. As stated by CHAD’s Executive Director, Brian Worth, “having a presence across a wide array of communities and offering affordable housing opportunities ranging from apartment to townhome to single-family residences permits CHAD to have a strong stakeholder role in the neighborhoods we serve for the individuals and families that call a CHAD housing unit HOME. For our residents, it means having better housing location choices—bringing residents closer to job opportunities, superior school districts, and quality healthcare services.”
